Fundamental Sensory Systems

How Does DTA Address Each System?

Developmental Therapy Associates was established in 1982 as one of a handful of pediatric sensory integration therapy clinics across the world.  For 38 years, this company has been providing quality evaluations, therapy services, and education to the public on sensory integration and processing and how it relates to function and overall well-being.  Our facilities have multiple, state of the art sensory spaces with grounded and suspended equipment specifically intended to target each sensory system.  These pieces of equipment, along with a variety of games and toys are used skillfully by our therapists in order to target and provide specific sensory input for each child.  These intervention strategies provide a fun and motivating way for children to develop appropriate sensory regulation strategies and fine and gross motor skills.
