Occupational Therapy Job Description
Developmental Therapy Associates, a private pediatric clinic offering occupational and speech/language therapy, is looking for an experienced and dynamic occupational therapist to join the DTA team!! DTA has been providing therapy services for children and families with a sensory integration focus since 1982. DTA serves the Triangle area with clinics currently in Durham and Cary. We are looking for a full-time occupational therapist that can travel to preschools, daycare centers and elementary schools.
DTA serves a wide variety of diagnoses including gross motor and fine motor delays, cerebral palsy, sensory processing disorders, Down's syndrome, ADHD, apraxia, articulation disorder, autism, expressive/receptive language delays, social language disorders and learning disabilities.
Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

Registered and Licensed with the state of North Carolina
-
Fun, energetic, creative and proactive
-
Experience with pediatrics
-
Sensory Integration as a focus is a bonus
-
Must be able to work in a variety of settings: early intervention, daycares/preschools, schools and clinic

Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and individually

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills

Able to work flexible hours
