Whitney Madren
Occupational Therapist

Whitney joined the DTA team in the summer of 2025 after completing her clinical fieldwork in pediatric occupational therapy. During her training, she worked alongside experienced therapists and gained hands-on experience supporting children with hemiplegia, sensory processing challenges, ADHD, developmental delays, and autism spectrum disorder.
Whitney brings a creative and energetic perspective to her practice, shaped by her background in the performing arts. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance from East Carolina University before pursuing her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Whitney is passionate about using imaginative and engaging approaches to help children reach their fullest potential in daily life.
In her free time, Whitney enjoys arts and crafts, dancing, and a good nap.
