Purpose

To oversee the Front Desk of the company, to assist with the production and viability of the whole group.

Product

High volume of kept patient appointments to an efficiently structured schedule with full patient billing information turned over to Billing Department.

Job Functions

  • Ensure effective internal and external communication.
  • Maintain robust relationships with both new and existing referral sources.
  • Optimize scheduling for patient appointments to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure patient commitment to scheduled appointments, including rescheduling within the same week if needed.
  • Enforce DTA’s 24-hour notice policy for appointment cancellations and missed appointments.
  • Accelerate the conversion of referrals to evaluations.
  • Oversee the management of referral records.
  • Manage insurance authorizations and follow-ups.
  • Confirm that billing details are complete before providing services.
  • Collect payments promptly and in full at the front desk on the day of service.
  • Assist with marketing and public relations, including website updates and social media engagements.
  • Maintain a neat and organized reception area.
  • Ensure the waiting area is clean, orderly, and well-arranged.
