Brittany Iwanski

Brittany has been with the DTA team since August 2021 working in our Cary clinic. She received her undergraduate degree at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and went on to earn her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. She has experience working in various settings including sensory integration clinics, prescribed pediatric extended care centers, daycares and schools, and inpatient hospitals. Brittany has worked with children for most of her life and has a true passion for helping her clients develop the skills necessary to reach their full functional potential and lead fulfilling lives. She is trained and certified in the SOS Approach to Feeding, Therapeutic Listening, and the Safe and Sound Protocol. She has mentorship training and experience in various visual, vestibular, and tactile processing protocols, as well as reflex integration and the Handwriting Without Tears program. In her free time Brittany enjoys doing yoga, playing volleyball, exploring the outdoors with her husband and dog, going to see live music, and traveling.
