Michelle is originally from New York and recently relocated to the Raleigh area in the Summer of 2011. She became interested in speech-language pathology while providing respite care for a young child with an autism spectrum disorder. Michelle earned her Bachelor’s in Communicative Sciences and Disorders with New York Initial Teaching Certification and her Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from the State University of New York at Geneseo.
During her educational and professional experience, Michelle had the opportunity to work with children and adults in speech clinics, preschools, elementary and high schools and alternative education programs. Michelle has experience working with preschool and school age children with articulation and language disorders, fluency disorders and autism spectrum disorders.
